Siobhan commisioned us to photograph her family reunion last summer and we received this lovely compliment just the other day.
" I hope you and Ruth are well.
I just wanted to drop you a line to say a big thank you. I know, I know, you took our pictures a year ago! But, even though, at the time, I could see how fabulous they were - various family members have used professional photographers since then and, without putting too fine a point on it, they were rubbish! And it just highlighted even more how great your photographs were.
So big thanks to you both! The memories you captured will stay with us forever!
I see from FB that those gorgeous boys of yours are running rings round you - good on them!

We photographed Nikki & Dean's wedding last November and Nikki has been kind enough to share some of the details that went in to making their day unique.
Where did Dean propose?
Outside my favourite family run jewellery shop in Hereford (where I used to press my nose against the window looking at the ring that’s not on my finger!) on one knee during a lovely winters evening, we then went off to have champagne.
Where did you get married & why?
Trallong Church near Brecon - My grandparents are buried there and it's close to my heart.
Where was the reception?
Did you have particular theme or style in mind?
Small and intimate with a classic style.
Tell us about your dress.
From Chez Louise in Builth Wells - I loved it from the first moment I put it on.
Tell us about your shoes.
From the Rainbow collection - Comfy but stylish.
Your invites / stationery.
Made by Sue Dale (my mother) she makes wonderful cards, so agreed to make my invites, order of service, place name cards and favour boxes!
Food & Drink.
Wonderful food supplied by Llangoed Hall, for the wedding breakfast we had deep fried salmon fish cakes with a sweet chili sauce, followed by Black Welsh Beef on a potato rosti with handmade ravioli - Dessert was a wonderful mouth watering trio.
Jewellery / Rings.
Some thing blue - My late grandmothers blue sapphire ring.
Something borrowed - My late great aunties pearl necklace.
Maid of honour, my sister, Claire. (We first met Nikki when we photographed her sister's wedding.)
Ushers / Groomsmen / Best Man.
Best Man - Deans step father.
Ushers - Brother in laws.
Hair & Makeup.
Make up was done by Victoria at MAC in Cardiff.
Hair - Jan at Shipshape in Brecon.
Both I know and love. Their work is always fantastic.
Made by Celtic Cakes. We wanted something a little quirky so the figureson top of the cake represented us completely! We had such lovely comments about the cake, it was divine.
Brecon Wedding Cars - We hired two cars, the Beaufort for myself and then onwards to the reception and a lovely grey Chrysler for the boys!
They provided a superb service, on time, smart and so helpful through out booking service and on the day.
Where did you go on Honeymoon?
We had a 'mini moon'!
A Memorable moment from your wedding day.
The surprise my parents had arranged - The Singing Servers! They were superb; their voices were amazing (jaw dropping!)
Your favourite image from your wedding day.
To many to mention - but seeing Deans face light up as I entered the church made me well up with tears - it was so emotional.
Your favourite photograph.
Mmmmmm, I love all of them!!! but I guess either the one outside Llangoed by the car or the one of us in the church just about to 'kiss the bride' - it's in our album and such a perfect shot.
